• In today’s market, more people than ever need short-term medical coverage. UniCare offers Short-Term PPO Plans for individuals and families. If you qualify, this plan provides immediate coverage and is ideal if you are:
• between jobs
• a recent college graduate; or
• waiting for permanent individual or employer coverage.
• A Short-Term Plan provides coverage for a minimum of 30 days and up to a maximum of 180 days based on a per-member, per-day rate. The plan may start and end on any day of the month.
